Rt. Rev. Stephen Richard K. Bosomtwe-Ayensu

The Bishop of the Obuasi Diocese of The Methodist Church Ghana, Rt. Rev. Stephen Richard K. Bosomtwe-Ayensu has said Ghana is been ruled by students.

“If we have a country or nation which ministers are students, how can the country move on?”. Bishop Ayensu wondered why President Mahama has surrounded himself with student ministers whiles there are experience people there.

He said this when inaugurating the newly created Kokofu Circuit in the Obuasi diocese when preaching to the congregation.

Bishop Ayensu was advising the Supt. Minister and the leaders of the Kokofu circuit to appoint experienced leaders to help build a strong circuit. He said there are some leaders who were working in the Bekwai Circuit in which there were created from, so they must be used to work in the circuit.

“I know you have choosed your leaders but you must choose the most experienced ones to help you and the church” bishop advised.

According to the bishop, if the country does not choose good and experience leaders, all the good things God has given us will been in vain but he gave gave assurance that if we change our attitudes and leaders Ghana will see the glory of the Lord.
